Reviewing: The Twilight Saga

By Nora J

The Twilight saga includes some of the most popular books of the new age- Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. These books are more popular with teenage girls, but there are still other people who read them. (Which I think is kind of weird, when it's a boy, but I try not to care.) In my opinion, they are the Best.

I've read the whole saga twice. Once when I first bought them, and then the second time about a month later when I kind of forgot what happened in the third book Eclipse. I am definitely not the kind of person that likes to watch or read the same thing twice… unless the thing I'm reading or watching is really great. I can tell when it's great when even though you know exactly what's going to happen, you have the same crazy emotions you had the first time. And with these books, that happened. Especially with Breaking Dawn because I think that's the best and most exciting book out of them all.

I know how in magazines and on celebrity news shows they always talk about how crazy teenage girls go absolutely psycho over the movie stars that are in the movies based on these books, but to tell you the truth, the movies aren't even close to how great the books are. And how there's team Edward and team Jacob. I think that's really dumb how they have teams because everyone knows exactly how the story turns out. And also I don't get why they have teams because what exactly are you rooting for? But if I had to choose what team I would be on, I would choose Edward's because for one, vampires are awesome, and the other reason is because I read the books before the movies came out and right off the bat I was on the vampires' side. Also technically the werewolves are the "bad guys" in the books, but now they screwed up the whole story in the movies, which kind of pisses me off, but I deal with it.

I think the reason people (mostly including teenage girls) like these books so much is because they compare themselves to Bella, and reflect themselves onto her. It really makes you daydream and actually makes you almost believe that there are vampires and werewolves somewhere.

I really suggest that whoever is into books about romance, excitement, sadness, and some other awesome stuff, should definitely read these books, because I almost guarantee that whoever you are and if you like those book genres, you'll love them…very much.

Oh yeah and remember…vampires
are

Awesome! J

  1. What would happen if a vampire bit someone who eats 20 pounds of garlic a day?
