I've wanted many presents over the years, and most of them I didn't get. There's one that I wanted for a very long time, but I still do not have it. My parents say I have to sell my quad in order to have it. I want to, but I just can't find a buyer.
The gift is a mini dune buggy. I've always wanted one because they're super awesome in my opinion, and they're like little miniature cars. I've always wanted my own car, and a mini dune buggy is as close as I can get for the next three or four years.
My dad used to have a dune buggy, but it was very, very old fashioned, and old. It had wooden pedals for the acceleration and brakes, and the steering wheel was wood too. Oh yeah, and the brakes didn't work. The paint job was super (I want to say something, but I won't)…cruddy, and the paint was pretty much gone. Also, the tires were all flat. The only time I remember driving it was when my dad "forgot" the brakes didn't work, and made us all crash into our gate, which is still broken. I don't necessarily remember what we did with that dune buggy, but I know it's not with us, and probably in a better place.
For that reason, I want my OWN dune buggy that I drive…and ONLY I drive. And since Olancha is such a great place to have quads and dirt bikes and other toys, it would be perfect for me to have a mini dune buggy. A good use for it would be, for example: if we run out of milk, (which happens pretty often) I could go to the Mobil and get it. I would be having fun at the while I'm doing something good. I could also go to the school with my friends and be able to get home without the help of my parents
On the mini dune buggy, I'd need working head lights, two seats, a good engine, and some sort of storage compartment. If I could get all with these things on a fabulous miniature dune buggy, I'd be a happy camper!
Awesome entry...now I want a dune buggy too bacuse you made it sound so cool
