Chad’s Book Review

By Chad

Think about your favorite book or movie.  Why is it your favorite?  Write an essay persuading readers to watch the movie or read the book.  Be specific and use lots of details.  Your essay should be at least three paragraphs.

I'm going to tell y'all 'bout Bluford High. I only read numero uno of the series. It is a very interesting teen book. It has a "murder" in it which makes it intense.

It all started off with Roylin. He was a 17 year old social outcast, shot before, lived with an abusive father, which moved out recently. Because of said father, he inflicted his pain on others, making him a bully. But when he meets the girl of his dreams, he needs cash fast, so he steals it from his old friend, who keeps all his cash in his wallet.

But when he steals it, Tuttle, an old man who owns the apartments, plays a dirty trick on Roylin. He makes Roylin think Mr. Miller is dead, and makes him do work or he'll call the cops. Then he buys the necklace for Korie archer, the grl of his dreams who just moved in, she cheats on him. And now he thinks he killed a man for nothing. Then he calls his one friend Cooper, and find out Mr. Miller isn't dead after all! Then at the end, he asks the popular kids to go chill with old dudes, and when Korie asks him to go out with her again.
