I think field trips are very important to have in schools. It gives a chance for the students to explore new things with their school friends. But sometimes there are field trips that are just for fun, and not about learning…And those are my favorite.
If I were to choose where to go on a field trip, I would definitely choose a place where kids can have fun. An amusement park, a swimming pool, camping, and going to the beach are all great ideas in my opinion. But the idea I choose would definitely be the best field trip my friends from class have ever been on.
My idea for a field trip would be to go to Pismo Beach. Pismo Beach is a very cool place because there are sand dunes by the water that you can ride quads and other vehicles on. We would all meet at school, and take two vans there. We would bring a very big tent that could fit everyone inside and put it on the dunes. We would stay maybe one or two nights if the weather is nice and swim and party during the day, and party next to a fire with music at night. It would be a very, very fun time for sure.
If that idea isn't possible, I would choose a much simpler one. I would want to go to the
Hot
Springs. The Hot Springs is a very fun swimming pool that I love to go to. It has warm water and a very hot, hot, hot hottub. In the pool, there's this fountain thing that shoots water from water spouts and it's very fun to go under. I'm sure my class would have a great time there. And if that's not enough, either before or after we swim, we could go into town and eat at McDonald's or maybe even go watch a movie. Mr. Heist said it might be possible if Mrs. G. approves, which would be absolutly awesome. We would come to school and take two vans, since our class is so small. I'm very sure that it would be an amazing time…For me anyways.
If my field trip fantasies could come true, I would be the happiest person in the world. (That's kind of a dramatization, but still.) I hope at least my idea for going to the Hot Springs can come true.
