Tell five things you'd like to do on your next birthday

By Chad

  1. I'd go to John Pizza in Bakersfield. They have a lot of rides there and a lot of food.

  1. I'd like to see my sister Krysti. She lives right behind John's Pizza in an RV park. She lives in our trailer, because all her roommates screw her over every time.

(3) I'd like to see my dad Jerry, because he is really nice, but he lives in Nebraska. I didn't get to see him long last year because his wife became rude to us after 3 days, so my mom wanted me to go home after the reunion. They got a divorce so now I can go to Nebraska this summer and visit him.

(4)    I'd like to get a new Cell phone, and migrate to T-Mobile. That way I can get unlimited everything for only 79.99. That way I can go on the internet and get as many free ringtones as I want. And I can connect my iPod Touch to its Bluetooth and connect to the internet from everywhere. All I'll have to d is do 20$ of chores each week or get a job.

(5)

like to have 1 million dollars and invest it in a business. I'd do that so I can afford college when I get older, or just buy a nice house in a nice neighborhood of a city, once I make enough money on profits.

Advice

By Chad

If I could give one piece of advice to any person in history, that advice would be... for Martin Luther King Jr. to not go out on the beacon. I would also say he should not have bent over. If I could say that to him, he may be living right now. If he was still alive, there'd be less riots over his death. There'd also be fewer gangs, black crime and such. Basically the crime rate may be lessened. There'd be no such thing as Crips and Bloods and all the famous black gangs. (No racism intended)

If I Were the Teacher

By Avi

If I were the teacher, I would start class at 9:00 a.m. I would let my students listen to their IPods as long as I couldn't hear it. I would also let them chew gum they just have to spit it out before they left the class. I would assign seats only to kids that talked a lot. The desks would be arranged in a big circle. I would give them their homework half an hour before class was over and give them time to work on in class. My classroom would be really colorful. I would also have a laptop for each student. They would work on the laptops instead of on paper. I would also give them snacks. I wouldn't mind if they wore hats or sunglasses. And class would be over at 10:00.

In 20 years I will be…

By Avi

In 20 years, I will be a Doctor. To be a Doctor first I would have to go to college for about 4 years. But before college I would have finish High School and get my diploma. Then I would look for a college to go to. Then after I found the college would be going to I would choose my career. I would like to be a Doctor because I like to help people and I would like to cure them. Although, I really can't stand looking at blood for a long time. I would prefer to be a Doctor for little kids. I would try my best to be a awesome Doctor. I have always wanted to be a Doctor ever since I was in Kindergarten.

Russia

By Aly

If I had the freedom to travel to any city or country, I would have many places to go. But my most favorite place would be Russia. I would love to travel to Russia for many reasons, but my top three reasons will be explained.

First, Russia's building are said to be a piece of art, not any building is the same. I believe that their artistic ways would be favorable to go see and study. I could imagine looking up at the sky scrapers and seeing huge murals, of many varieties, and the only things to come to mind are: beautiful, breath taking, and awesome.

Also, the history of Russia is large, and I would want to study it first hand, going to Moscow and Siberia where a lot of their history took place would be much fun, being able to go to museums, seeing art, war sites, and so on and so on. And looking up my family history would also be a bonus. Learning about the Russian Mafia, would really spark my interest. Seeing how they use to run Russia would be interesting.

Lastly, it's so big, and I would just love to visit a lot of the cities and towns. I know it sounds stupid, but it just seems interesting to meet all those people and see everything Russia has to offer. I also plan to live in Russia one day, so I might as well see what it looks like.

So that's why I would like to travel to Russia, if I had the freedom to travel and why.

When I Moved…

By Aly

I had just gotten home from Camp Kindle, I was happy, ecstatic even, And I felt as if I was on top of the world, my life was perfect. I looked around and saw my mothers black jeep rounding the corner. I smiled wide and said goodbye to my friends, carrying my luggage, I headed to the car, and hugged my parents. My father, whom I now call Jeff, picked up my luggage and put them into the trunk of the car.

I got in, putting on my seatbelt, and my father started the car easing it forward, and driving onto the highway. My mom turned around and said with a straight face "We're moving."

My face went blank, I hadn't even been able to tell Cayla and Courtney goodbye. "What?" I exclaimed.

"I said we're moving." Repeated my mother. She smiled as if moving was going to be great.

I quietly nodded sad, and leaned my head against the window closing my eyes.

~~Two years later~~

Now in 6th grade, I finally got through to my parents that I had not wanted to move here. But I was silently suffering through the years I am forced to live here, dreaming about the day where I can move, and be done with this town. I am not preppy like I once was, nor do I care what I look like, I feel as if those have no meaning in my once city lifestyle. But now I know that not all of life will be easy, like I once thought it, but I know that life is a game, and mine is just a pawn in someone else's game…

Angela’s Favorite Place

By Angela

My room is my favorite place in my house I am in there most of the day. When I was in the 5th grade and went to 5th grade science camp I came back to a pink and purple room! My dad and cousin painted it while I was gone; they choose those colors because those were my two favorite colors at the time. Now those are not my favorite colors now they are hot pink and black.

My bed is kind of small but it is comfy. It is pink and it says "Being a princess isn't always easy". I think it is retarded but my mom choose it so whatever. My favorite thing about my room is my closet. The reason that is my favorite thing about my room is because it is pretty big. Once when I got mad at my dad I stayed in there it is big enough that I can lay down. I didn't get bored because I have a lot of games in there, so it is pretty cool.
